Instructional Support Teams:
Program Evaluation

ISTs will be collect data in:

Hours
We will keep track of how many actual service hours are spent:
  • data management
  • collborative examination of data
  • support to teachers one on one
  • finding and/or gathering instructional resources for teachers
  • co-teaching in classroom

Haifa Sadighi has directed us to log this information. Until a FMP or other database can be created for us to enter the information directly, use this draft form to gather this information weekly, most probably whenever your IST meets together.

See the forms page for the current log for keeping track of time.

Student achievement

  • As we proceed with ISTs we will compare student achievement with how many hours of service students’ teachers received from ISTs – so we can determine if there seems to be an effect on student achievement when teachers are actively supported by their Instructional Support Teams. We also want to examine these critical areas in student achievement:
  1. Are more students continuing on from middle school to high school?
  2. Are more students staying between their freshman and junior years of high school?
  3. And are more students graduating?
